Information for Patients
Acute Care Clinic
Services are provided on a walk-in basis; no appointment needed. We can manage most illness and minor injuries, and we provide a wide range of labs and other testing. Our services are similar to what most urgent care and walk-in clinics provide. Most services are included in the visit price, making pricing easy to understand.
We also accept outside orders from your physician or other clinician. With a written order from your physician, podiatrist, PA, or NP (licensed in Texas), you can get specific services (such as tests and blood draws) without needing a full evaluation or paying for a visit.
To see more details about services offered, see the Acute Care Clinic page.
We are a direct-pay facility (direct-pay clinic); that means we do not accept insurance and that patients pay us directly for services. Beacon Medical Center does NOT require membership. Anyone can see us, including those who have insurance.
Wondering about the direct-pay model or why you would come here if you have insurance? Learn more about direct-pay.
Home medical care
Below information is preliminary. We are NOT yet providing home medical care services.
If you are a patient wanting home medical services, you will be able to just contact your doctor or treating clinician and ask them to submit an order to us (see clinicians page).
Home medical services are for anyone who would like services in their home. Home medical services are often given to those who are home-bound or have just been discharged from the hospital, but our services are for anyone--even those who just want the convenience.
Best of all, your doctor can order just what is needed without the hassle of insurance approvals and silly adminstrative requirements. You get the care you need.
