We offer after-hours medical care for most illness and minor injuries (similar to urgent care and walk-in clinics).
Most urgent care and walk-in clinics focus on providing fast, low-quality care; their model is characterized by following rigid protocols and maximizing insurance reimbursement.
Using a direct-pay model, we can provide care that is far better.
Prices are affordable and simple. Most importantly, care is thorough and individualized; we respect your autonomy. Because we are not controlled by insurance, government programs, or corporations, we can give authentic advice. We also help to maintain continuity with your own doctor; something that rarely happens in today's disjointed medical system.

Acute Care Clinic services
Below are some of the services we offer, and we plan to expand with time.
- Diagnosis and management of most acute illnesses
- In-clinic labs (point-of-care tests) such as Strep, Flu, RSV, UA, pregnancy
- Diagnosis and management of most minor injuries, including splinting/casting, laceration repair
- EKG
- Medication injections
- Lab-draw service
- School/Sports physicals, audiograms
- Acute worsening of chronic conditions
- Short-term refill of chronic medications (e.g. ran out, cannot see own doctor right away)
- We accept orders from outside physicians/clinicians for specific services
Services we do NOT provide
- Refill of controlled substances (narcotic medications, ADHD medications, and others)
- Management of testosterone, including short-term (a controlled substance)
- Ongoing management of chronic conditions (we can address short-term issues relating to chronic conditions)
Beacon Medical Center has contracted with Simple Traditions Family Health PLLC for them to provide office space and medical services for the medical center. Both Beacon Medical Center and Simple Traditions Family Health are owned by Paul Dibble MD.
